New albums by David Dorůžka and Ondřej Pivec to be released in March 08
Two great new albums will be released on Animal Music label at the end of March 2008. Four years after his awarded debut album as a leader guitarist David Doruzka comes with “Silently Dawning” containing 12 his original compositions on poems / lyrics by Emily Dickinson, Jiří Orten and Josefine Lindstrand. Together with Doruzka, Swedish singer Josefine Lindstrand, Polish drummer Lukasz Zyta and Polish bassist Michal Baranski are playing. Album is just being mastered by Bob Katz at Digital DOmain, USA. Hammond organist Onřej Pivec, leader of Organic Quartet, recorded his “Overseason” album in New York, where he stayed in summer 2007 with Organic´s drummer Tomáš Hobzek. For the recording they were joined by Jake Langley on guitar and Joel Frahm on saxophone.
