David Dorůžka – Silently Dawning
Excellent young Czech jazz guitarist David Dorůžka, who is well known not only in his domestic country, but also abroad, and whose debut album Hidden Paths (2004) received many awards, composed for the purpose of his second album music on poems by Emily Dickinson (English) and Czech poet Jiří Orten (Czech) as well as Swedish lyrics written by young Swedish singer Josefine Lindstrand, who joined Dorůžka in the studio and sings all the songs in all three languages, accompanied by Polish rhythmic duo Łukasz Żyta (drums and percussion) and Michał Barański (bass). Intimate and honest music with excellent performances and sound.

Vertigo Quintet & Dorota Barová
On its new album, Czech jazz band Vertigo Quintet, whose debut album was awarded by Czech Popular Music Academy as the best jazz album of 2005, co-operates with vocalist and singer Dorota Barová, who is well known as a member of alternative duo Tara Fuki. The album was recorded and mixed in Poland by famous sound engineer Tadeusz Mieczkowski and contains seven authentic compositions by Vertigo Quintet members as well as Dorota Barová, who also contributed by lyrics in Polish.

Young Czech singer ZEURÍTIA has recorded her debut album composed of brazilian bossa novas and sambas as well as jazz tunes inspired by brazilian music, in fresh sound and modern jazz arrangements. Recorded songs were composed by authors like A.C.Jobim, D.Caymmi and many more. Beata Hlavenková - Joy For Joel
Young Czech pianist. composer and arranger Beata Hlavenkova, known as a leader of her own Trio and also from bands like S´Aight, Open Sextet and Eternal Seekers, has recorded her first solo album (made exclusively of her own compositions) in New York with well known US musicians: trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, saxophonist Rich Perry, bassist Matt Clohesy, drumer Jon Wikan and pedal steel guitarist Dave Easley. Young multi-genre group existing since 2006 and composed of musicians from the jazz scene, brings its debut album. Jaromír Honzák Quintet - Little Things
Czech bassist and composer Jaromír Honzák, one of the most important persons on Czech jazz scene, whose activities and importance have long ago crossed the border, releases his fifth album titled „Little Things“ in the year of his 50th birthday. Honzák´s Quartet featuring David Dorůžka on guitar, Michal Tokaj on piano and Lukasz Zyta on drums (both from Poland) were joined in the studio by well known US saxophonist Chris Cheek. Album contains seven Honzák´s own compositions and one by David Dorůžka. Recordings contain pure musical beauty and excelent arrangements. Two previous Honzák´s albums were awarded by Anděl – Czech „Grammy“ as the best jazz album of the year.

Infinite Quintet - Speak Slowly
First release of an outstanding young Czech jazz quintet led by trumpetist Miroslav Hloucal, a man of an extraordinary compositional and performing talent and member of many groups (Points, Matej Benko Quintet, Lanugo etc.). The band also performs compositions penned by saxophonist Petr Kalfus and pianist Viliam Béreš. Bassist Petr Dvorský and drummer Martin Novák make the rhythm section.
